Our humble Prayer – Can be done as a practice each moment or day
Calling the Divine Mother: I humbly pray for Her presence to grace my heart center. Seeing The Mother’s smily face within (the Eyes are also smiling with love and compassion) and praying, “Mother, please do not see me as impure. Kindly come, and rest within me”. With devotion, I cleansed my heart center, placed there a radiant golden cloth and lit a gentle lamp to welcome Her. Now, concentrate on the flame, you can concentrate on Her beautiful smiling face or Her lotus Feet or simply envisioning Her seated within the heart center. In this stillness, allow Her touch to envelop you. You can feel Her presence.
This is a deeper body work practice offered on 18th July 2025
Summary:
Releasing the mental, psychological hold on the breath we connected to its natural, nourishing force. Deepening simultaneously another part of awareness inside the body, we connected to the pure peace, quititude, silence of the body, of which it is born, intuitively we requested all the cells of the body to turn their gaze and reconnect to their originality. In a loving, joyful patience we adopted the posture of honesty, waiting inside the body for the body to reveal its pure substance, its Divine portion. A joyful waiting for the Divine lover to reveal his face, his light, his spark in this body.
Duration: 34 Minutes
Facilitator : Shweta Rajurkar

1. Summary of retreat experience
With deep joy the Divine Body project completed a 3 day residential retreat today with Shweta Rajurkar as facilitator. We looked at different forms of body perfection – yoga asanas, Kalari and Tai Chi. Through it all we explored conscious movements, connecting to vastness, surrender and deeper body work. We had the Havan, a sacred flame process, as a conscious way to practice the inner process of harmony. We went out to the back waters one of the days to connect to vastness and open ourselves more.
There was memory work. Lots of breath work was there. We had both normal food and very healthy food prepared like sathu mavu kanji, soup, kitchedi and the like.
Body opened up more. We learnt to open to higher consciousness all done in a simple, well interwoven way.
There was simply chanting. Some offered their singing and flute as a new way of re-beginning their habits.
The retreat was a blend of some structured sessions and some organic- natural- spontaneous- intuitive sessions. Keeping the body as the central point – the anchor – we tried to connect the other parts of our being like mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual. We explored vastness, mantras and Divine Qualities for a better vision of the future.
The venue was Arulville, the Hermitage, a wellbeing retreat centre in Cheyyur Village.
2. Next retreat dates
The next residential retreat offered by Shweta Rajurkar is fixed for 23rd to 26th January 2026. Same venue

“Ārambha The 4 day experience was a mosaic being created in real time and unfolding itself in an emergent here and now. Our sensei, Shweta has travelled far and wide and collected seeds that now are shared with us. Her foundation has been with the Body ever since she became a yoga practitioner. And then comes her metamorphosis into bringing the Divine into Body consciousness. The typical day comprising of pranayama, jala neti, yoga, agnihotra, kalari, conscious bodywork and music give us pathways to new worlds awaiting us. The meal times were special, offerings of so many natural and sattvik foods were offered to us as prasad. All gathered, cooked and served with love. Tremendous behind the scene preparations was evident without any proclamations. The invitation has been extended, the volition is in place and each one of us will create our own unique mix of what is best suited to our mind-body- consciousness matrix.
For me, this year is the year of the Body. My tarot card was : Perseverance : and it was the divine Mothers Grace to receive this offering. I am so humbled to introspect on how my body has allowed me to follow my aspirations, supporting me for the past 60 years, never asking any gratification. I seek forgiveness from my body for neglecting her. Now the time has come for giving back. The body has not aged, it is the Mind that has. Breaking free from the biases of gender, age, legacy is my challenge. But the workshop has given me just that nudge to walk the new paths. I must seize the moment before the fire burns out.
I am filled with gratitude for being a part of the cohort and my pranam to our Sensei Shweta. 🙏🏼
Joy”

What today we are going to touch upon, is felt personally also in my own journey and is what we see as a major obstruction. During this inner and deeper journey with our body, the difficulty, which we can call it as the identification of this body through a particular gender is explored. Now as we can see that in the world there is more and more complication you can say. That is coming up with the identity of the body.
It’s a consciousness. It’s still that level where it identifies itself only at the physical level and only to the gender of that body.
Take this deep plunge into the body today and try to resolve, try to untangle ourselves from those knots of thoughts, beliefs, criteria which keep this body and the consciousness connecting to this body only to its gender. So we go through a very simple process, a very simple, deeper explanation.
Just make yourself as comfortable when you’re sitting with the eyes closed or open.
Once again, we bring back that childlike curiosity of being or becoming the child of the Divine.
Even if we go quickly to the memory of ourselves as a child, a child never identifies itself as a girl or as a boy.
So what is that? Spontaneous, simple, innocent knowledge. Knowledge of being, just being. And not being as a woman, as a man, as a girl or a boy.
Take a few minutes to become more and more aware of this body. As it is at this moment with all its sensations, with all its being, the kind of form that we have got used to a certain level of stimulus. It is required to come to that neutrality, to that neutral observation, awareness and being. Slowly dropping all the tiny little urges of any sort of movement.
Try to remain inside the body. Let all the impressions through different teachings and karmas, be it through family societies, schools, education systems, all that reminds this body only as a body of a particular gender let them be revealed. As a thought or as a feeling as it comes to the surface, let us simply flip it, turn it towards the divine. Let us say towards the abode of the Divine, the vastness that we can feel all around us, that we can feel above us or below us.
While we do this, let us have a single focused aspiration for this body. Through this body to understand, see, and feel not only this body, but all the bodies that we come across as the body or as a body… which is a form taken by the soul. The major identification with the body as a particular gender, this is dropping. Know the body. See the body just as a body.
Now we don’t want to remain only in that memory layer of the body. We can observe that
with the rooted memories of centuries and the languages the different sensations. Through these sensations, through the deep rooted memories of this belief attached may come to surface. And instantly we are simply flipping it, turning it to the vastness That is the highest reality and not this narrow identification.
Will be quiet for the next two to three minutes. Let us all be single focused to come to a certain higher level of identification with the body, the body above and beyond its gender – Just an instrument of the divine.
The Mother advised, not only advised, but in Her universal motherhood, she has urged that we should not cling to the identity of this body. Only by dropping the traditional and old way of identification or the ordinary human way of identification, we may be able to penetrate deep within and know oneself just as a soul. The spark, the light of this knowledge is right there inside – the pure substance, the purity. A child like purity of this body. Let us have this aspiration to recover that simplicity. It is actually very simple to know oneself as a soul, as a psychic being. This can be our mantra.
We are not rejecting the body. We are rejecting that limited identification of oneself with the gender of this body.
First with this childlike simple, yet conscious act of dropping this limitation, just by the simple act, we are opening the doors of knowledge, of realization of that awareness, of that state of unification, state of union, state of being one.
We may call it the feminine and masculine, Purusha and Prakrithi or Shiva and Sakthi. Just by constantly dropping this long held identification, we come closer to a higher reality inside this body – The body, which is in a state of particular gender at the moment, but it holds the capacity of a higher realization beyond this ordinary or to say imposed realization.
Now let us come to the stream of our breath. Each breath absorbs the prana form the One Single Source, that source, the source of Supreme, which is open, which is available beyond
any limit, any classification, any division for all. As we become conscious of this absorption of Prana through each breath, let the body, let the mind, let our emotional being connect to that higher spiritual reality.
Deep down in our being we know this reality of Oneness which does not need any identification of the gender. As we remain consciously aware of our breath today, this day, as we open our eyes after the session today, not the physical gaze, but the gaze of a soul….let the gaze of our soul fall upon the fellow humans, the fellow beings. And with that conscious gaze, let us connect directly with the soul of their being.
Individually, I am connecting to that source reality with my conscious gaze. Collectively I am being and becoming an instrument to connect to this higher reality of a soul.
Try as much as possible TO BE with this sense of Oneness, as we open our eyes, let us connect to all the beings around us and souls and the bodies, The beautiful forms that has been chosen by that soul as its garb as its way to offer its duties towards the Divine.
‘Divya Deham’ is a mantra, faith and a truth of our body as it aspires to shake itself off from its old habits and mode of survival and shift to a new way of BEing united with the presence of the Divine. Our body wishes to purify its thoughts, energy, emotions and sensations currents. It chooses to release its entanglements by an increasing process of deeper awareness, aspiration, offering itself and waiting to receive and hold Divine Qualities and its Flows within. When the body is thus able to change and transform, it moves to the side of harmony and balance. When the body is unable to cope up with the dimension of the new, it falls ill, generates resistance to life and falls into the stupor of lethargy.
This 9 Sunday online course set for an hour from 7 am to 8 am IST, is meant for those individuals who feel something new is birthing, some spiritual calling is unfolding and they wish to embody this change at the level of their deeper body. The course is scheduled from 18th May to July 20th 2025.
